Konferencja “Alone Together” w Yorku/“Alone Together” Conference in York
W dniach 10-12. kwietnia b.r. w angielskim Yorku odbędzie się międzynarodowa konferencja naukowa poświęcona problemowi samotności we wspólnocie „Alone Together”. An International Pandyscyplinary Symposium on Solitude in Community. Konferencję organizują wspólnie York St John University (w osobie prof. Juliana Sterna) oraz Uniwersytet Szczeciński (dr Małgorzata Wałejko) pod auspicjami obojga Rektorów: prof. Karen Stanton oraz Prof. Edwarda Włodarczyka.
W spotkaniu wezmą udział badacze z dziewięciu państw: Australii, Kanady, Francji, Polski, Anglii, Rumunii, Szwecji i Stanów Zjednoczonych. Nasz uniwersytet reprezentować będzie dziewięć osób, w tym dwoje studentów Interdyscyplinarnych Studiów Zaawansowanych oraz doktorantka US, Barbara Chojnacka, która wygrała konkurs o stypendium JM Rektora US dla młodego badacza, autora najlepszego abstraktu.
„Alone Together”. An International Pandyscyplinary Symposium on Solitude in Community is a title of a conference co-organised by York St John University (specifically Prof. Julian Stern) and the University of Szczecin (Dr. Małgorzata Wałejko), which will take place in York, UK, between 10th and 12th April 2019. The event has auspices of Vice Chancellor of YSJU, prof. Karen Stanton, and the Rector of US, prof. Edward Wlodarczyk.
The participants of the symposium are coming from nine countries (Australia, Canada, France, Poland, Romania, Sweden, the UK, and the USA). The University of Szczecin will be represented by nine researchers, e.g. two students of the Interdisciplinary Advanced Studies and a doctoral student, Barbara Chojnacka, who awarded Rector’s scholarship for a young author of the best abstract.
