Committee for the Application of Ethical Standards in Scientific Research at the University of Szczecin

The Committee is responsible for issuing ethics-related opinions for University of Szczecin’s staff, students and doctoral students’ requests concerning scientific research involving human participation which is not a medical experiment (scientific research evaluated by the Bioethics Committee at the University of Szczecin). Please note that requests for opinions must be submitted before starting the research (the Committee does not issue ex-post opinions).

Complete and signed requests together with annexes must be sent electronically to: komisja.standardyetyczne@usz.edu.pl and their paper versions must be submitted to the Committee’s Office (Research and Research Projects Office, University of Szczecin, al. Schedule of Committee’s sessions

Sessions are convened as necessary, at least once a semester in each academic year. If no requests have been made to the Committee at least 14 days before the date of the session, the scheduled session shall not be held. The President of the Committee may convene an additional session not included in the schedule of Committee’s regular sessions for a given calendar year.
